Emo....girls slept in their own bed last night.

Woke up today for Subuh and my usual routine is to turn around and kiss the girls. But they were no where to be found.

Hub told me that S requested to sleep in her own bed and M followed suit. I was fast asleep by then.So i went to their rooms and there they were, sleeping peacefully. Somehow I feel so sad that they are no longer sleeping with me. A bit late by world standard, but that's just a milestone by itself that Ive already missed.We kind of grew up together eversince S was born 6 years ago and now that she requested to sleep in her own room made me go uwaaaaa.....But good achievement nonetheless. Well done girls !!

It has now been about a month since we 1st arrived here.23/2-22/3....and 2 weeks without Mr Hub. Tiring but fulfilling 2 weeks it was! 

This post is just to share with any newcomers to Wollongong of where to get cheap stuffs, some shared to me by my friends here and some that I discovered myself...More to discover though n will be shared soonest!

1)Cheap clothings for kids-'Best and Less' at Crown Street Mall , and if u have a car,at KMart,some garage sale at Warrawong field on Saturday and Dapto on Sunday...Pumpkin Patch is not bad too though, but the cheapest Ive got was abt 20 dollars during sale. Some are also priced at abt 15, after discount, but at Best and Less n KMart,you can get 5 dollars tshirt of nice quality n design.

2) Reject Shop at Crown Street Mall

3) something Chemist pharmacy just near the bus stop if you take 55A bus and stop near the mall. It's the opposite side of the road.A shop next to it also sells cheap stuffs !

4) Borrow kids books and DVDs from Wollongong City Library. 5 dollar ones you can get at a book shop on the right hand corner of the mall before entrance.

5) cheap shoes-at Payless Shoes. Nice quality ones. 

6) rain boots at RIVERS. There's one on the LG floor at the mall on yr right.

7)rain boots for kids at KMart.

8)fish market at figtree on Saturday but the biggest Ive been so far is at shellharbour which is in the mall.

-Send straight to Graduate House- Apply early!

-Pg postgrad research ctr-student info is there.Bring all docs regarding sponsorship.

-Student service ambil student card

-Buat bank acct-NAB better-get a bank statement to buy phone.

-buy an Aus phone number

-halal chicken at supermarket-steaggles

-halal chicken at Habib near the mall

-Red Lea is halal. Can find it at shellharbour.

-childcare at unikids is soooo cantik but expensive!!!!

Things you need to do...

1. Change driving license to the new one with chip as it's written in both Malay, English.

2. Apply Enrich GRADUATE card at Pejabat MAS,KL Sentral.

3. Translate marriage cert, birth cert etc for visa purposes with Pesuruhjaya Sumpah, at any Mahkamah Sesyen nearby your house. In my case, the nearest is Seksyen 15, Bangi.

4.Make a bank draft.it takes about 3 days once u bank it in in Australian bank.

Starting to panic and feeling all sad and mushy leaving Malaysia

It seems so long and impossible 3 years ago that now I'll finally be flying off for my PhD. I pray that Allah eases my journey....Ameen.

Visa approved and flight ticket booked !God, this is really happening ! I pray that everything will be smooth sailing.....Must remember Allah at all times in hardship and in ease...So here's to a new blog in a new country.
